Privacy and cookies
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This notice explains how personal data is handled when you browse the LOG3 FILM catalogue at log3film.com or contact us. Purchases are currently disabled. The website does not currently collect payment-card details or process online payments.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Kalin Vanchev, Sweden, operating the LOG3 FILM website. For privacy questions or requests, email info@log3film.com.
What we use and why
- Website delivery and security: the hosting service receives connection data, such as your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser information and response status. A referring page may be included if your browser sends it. This data is used to deliver pages, keep the website available, investigate errors and prevent misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Messages you send: if you email us, we use your email address, any name you provide, your message and attachments to respond and handle the matter. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and maintaining the related correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)). Sending a message is optional; you do not need to do so to browse the catalogue. Please do not send payment-card details or sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your question.
- Privacy preferences: we store the version, time and category choices of your cookie decision to remember and respect it. Our legitimate interest is maintaining the privacy setting you requested (Article 6(1)(f)). The necessary preference cookie is described below.
Service providers and access
The website is hosted by Hostinger. Website data is processed through its hosting infrastructure and the website software, including WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor and LiteSpeed. Installing software does not itself mean that visitor data is sent to the software publisher. Hosting and email service providers can process the data needed to operate their services. Access is limited to the operator, people authorised to maintain the website where needed, and service providers involved in the relevant task. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Hostinger uses international infrastructure and service providers. Processing outside the European Economic Area may occur depending on the hosting and support services involved. Hostinger’s data-processing terms describe its subprocessors and transfer arrangements, including European Commission standard contractual clauses for relevant transfers. Contact us if you want information about safeguards applicable to your data. We do not promise that all hosting data remains in Sweden or the EEA.
How long information is kept
The privacy preference cookie lasts for up to 180 days, unless you replace it, delete it, or a changed policy or service configuration requires a new choice. Messages are kept while we handle your enquiry and any necessary follow-up; relevant correspondence may be retained while a related dispute or legal obligation remains unresolved. Hosting logs and backups follow the hosting service’s rotation and deletion arrangements. Relevant log records may be kept while an error, security incident or legal claim is being investigated. The criteria are the continuing need for the stated purpose and any applicable legal requirement, rather than indefinite retention.
Your rights
You can contact info@log3film.com to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request data portability where the GDPR conditions apply. We may need limited information to verify your identity. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it for the future without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY, or another competent supervisory authority. The catalogue and cookie preference tool do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small values stored in your browser. Some are necessary to provide a function you request, such as remembering privacy preferences or keeping you signed in. You can browse the catalogue without accepting optional analytics or marketing tools.
| Cookie or category | Purpose and when used | Duration |
|---|---|---|
csps_consent |
First-party necessary preference. Stores only policy/service version, choice time and two yes/no category settings. It does not contain your name, email, order or payment details. | Up to 180 days from your choice. |
WordPress sign-in cookies, such as wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_* and wordpress_sec_* |
Used when the sign-in function is accessed or used; they test cookie support and maintain a secure login. They are not set merely because a product is displayed. | The test cookie is a session cookie. Login duration depends on the sign-in option; WordPress defaults are up to 2 days, or 14 days with “Remember Me”. |
WooCommerce session/cart cookies, such as wp_woocommerce_session_*, woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart |
Conditional on use of session/cart functions; they connect a browser to its cart data and recognise cart changes. Purchases are currently disabled. | WooCommerce defaults: up to 2 days for the session identifier; session duration for the cart-change cookies. |
The WordPress and WooCommerce rows describe standard functional cookies when those features are used, not a claim that every visitor receives them. The exact cookies depend on the functions used and their configuration.
Optional services and your choice
The website’s privacy preference tool currently has no configured optional analytics or marketing services. Categories without a configured service are unavailable and remain off. The tool does not add analytics, advertising scripts or tracking pixels. Its choices apply to services integrated with that tool; they are not a guarantee about unrelated browser extensions or external websites. Accepting cookies does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to review your preferences. “Necessary only”, “Accept all” and “Settings” are available without treating scrolling as consent. Refusing optional services does not prevent catalogue browsing. You can change or withdraw your optional choice at any time. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser; blocking necessary cookies can affect sign-in and other requested functions. If the browser cannot save a change, optional services controlled by this tool stay off on that page, and a message explains that an earlier choice may return after a reload.
Withdrawal requests and purchase complaints
If you use the withdrawal or purchase-problem form, we process your name, email address, order reference or other contract-identifying details, any optional problem description, submission time, request reference and acknowledgement records. We use them to receive and handle your statement, identify the relevant contract and send a receipt and response. A withdrawal does not require a reason.
The legal bases are compliance with consumer-law obligations (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)), handling the contract and related requests where necessary (Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interests in proportionate verification and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)). Submission does not authorise marketing or automatically decide or issue a refund.
Access is limited to the operator, authorised people handling the case and the hosting/email providers needed for the service. We keep the request and its evidence while handling it and for any continuing legal obligation, dispute or period in which a relevant claim must be established or defended; unnecessary details are deleted when that need ends. Your privacy rights and contact details elsewhere in this notice also apply. Please do not enter full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
Changes
We will update this notice when the website’s processing changes. Information about any future purchasing, payment or additional marketing service will be provided before that service is enabled.
